Talk to someone you've never met
Strangerhood drops you into real 1:1 conversations with strangers around the world. Anonymous, unfiltered, and safe by design — the good part of the old internet, rebuilt.
Meet someone new
One tap drops you into a 1:1 chat with a stranger somewhere in the world. No swiping, no feeds.
Anonymous by default
No real names, no profile to fill in. You're a handle and a vibe. You sign in with an email nobody ever sees — that's what makes bans stick and keeps this place decent.
Safe by design
Live moderation and a trust system with real teeth. Reports carry weight and stick, so you can relax and just talk.
Friends worldwide
Save the chats that click, come back to them, and build a little circle of people you'd never otherwise meet.
Shaped by feedback
Ask for a feature, flag what's broken, say what feels off — feedback goes straight to the person who builds this, and it ships fast.
Why this exists
Strangerhood is a passion project, built by one person who spent years on the old random-chat sites — the 2am conversations with strangers on the other side of the world that you remember a decade later. Those places died for a reason: nobody was accountable, and the worst people ruined it for everyone else. This is an attempt to rebuild the good part properly — anonymous to each other, accountable to the service, moderated like it matters. No investors, no ads, no selling your data. Just the thing itself, done right.
